‘The Golden Casket’ is the seventh LP by the Pacific Northwest’s indie rock saviors Modest Mouse. The LP follows a six-year hiatus but sees them in fine anthemic form. The band used the power of raw punk as a starting point and utilized some tricks of the studio to polish and reshape the songs.
